Musèe d’Ethnographie MEG -Unifor

Home to one of the largest collections of Switzerland’s artistic and cultural traditions, the Musée d’Ethnographie de Genève is located in a building that stands out from the surrounding urban context due to its sloping facades clad in sheet metal and its large rhomboid shaped windows.

The building has three floors, the library is located in the highest part and has an orderly layout by means of a modular bookcase system made by Unifor.

It is precisely on this furniture that beblaze has installed its LED products for customised linear lighting that is perfectly concealed in the shelves.

The moderation, the lightness of the shape and the refined spatial qualities create an inviting and comfortable reading environment and the light coming from the furnishings integrates harmoniously with that from the large windows.

Achieving this goal once again highlights beblaze’s ability to develop solutions not only thinking about the lighting result, but also with a focus on aesthetics and design research.
